Are you ready to kick-start your career in the Construction Industry? We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Entry Level Project Engineer who is eager to learn and grow within our organization. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in an environment where critical thinking and problem-solving skills are necessary. As a Project Engineer, you will be working closely with our project management team, helping to ensure that our construction projects are completed on time and within budget. You will be involved in various stages of our projects, from planning to completion. This position requires 2+ years of experience and a strong understanding of RFI coordination, Submittals, Subcontractor Relationships, and close outs.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the planning, coordination, and management of construction projects.
2. Support Project Managers in the execution of projects, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
3. Coordinate and process RFIs, submittals, and close outs.
4. Foster strong relationships with subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration.
5. Monitor project progress, addressing any issues that arise and ensuring the project stays on schedule.
6. Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
7. Participate in project meetings and provide updates on project status.
8. Assist in the preparation of project reports and documentation.
9. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 0 years' experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
3. Proven experience with RFI coordination, submittals, subcontractor relationships, and close outs.
4. Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and procedures.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
6. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
9. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
10. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
11. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
12. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
13. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
