The Opportunity
The Project Engineer will define detail requirements and work with suppliers to find the potential solutions and have responsibility for commissioning, qualification and optimization of the equipment. The Project Engineer will manage technical and/or engineering projects and work with site stakeholders to ensure availability of resources and adherence to project plans.
Main ResponsibilitiesSo, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied scope and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:
- Combining requirements from safety, quality, production, technical, engineering and supply to generate a clear user requirement for the equipment.
- Based on requirements and experience, generate a list of possible options with pro and cons.
- Develop and implement project plan to meet business deliverables
- Support purchase of the agreed equipment.
- Lead the installation, qualification and commissioning of manufacturing equipment.
- Support operations teams in optimization of the equipment.

- Engineering degree or a minimum of 3 years in a similar role if not degreed.
- Ability to manage vendors and ensure CAPEX are in line with company policies and standards.
- Demonstrated knowledge of GMPs and Pharma standards.
- Ability to lead individual projects while coordinating with site stakeholders.
- Ability to co-host meetings with PMO.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in Pharmaceutical Production or support, with a exposure to Technical Transfer of Pharmaceutical products and production is desirable but not essential based on the production skills demonstrated with evidence.
- Knowledge and experience of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, process development and validation is preferred.
- An understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) requirements is highly desired.
