What We're Looking For:
Barge Design Solutions is looking for a Project Engineer to support Roadway engineering projects, document development and design, and performs other related tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in project scope and budget development, as well as, assisting in project design
- Supports PM providing technical leadership on conventional projects
- Designs experiments, interprets, and develops conclusions on complex data.
- Writes and reviews engineer specifications, documents, drawings, etc. to produce various deliverables
- Designs a component, or process on a complex projects or designs complete a project, systems, or components on conventional projects
- Responsibility for completing a subset of project documents
- Participate in client meetings, as appropriate
- Conducts on-site visits to monitor progress of project
- Performs other duties as requested
- Directs EIT and Designers in preparation of project plans
- Technical lead on conventional projects
Education & Experience Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from accredited program
- Minimum of 4 or more years of engineering experience
- Registered PE
- Timeliness & quality of technical team's work on projects and budget adherence
- Utilization rates align with goal
