About the Role
Our Project Infrastructure Engineers are our go to technical resources to implement upgrades and new technologies within our client environments. From firewall configurations to environment virtualizations, these Lloydians gain hands-on experience with the vast range of tools and services that we offer our clients. Working closely with our Project Manager, Service Desk, and Client Strategy teams, and directly with our clients, they have a unique opportunity to improve our client networks through implementation, collaboration, and documentation.
Role Accountabilities
- Level II Project Implementation
- Installation, configuration, and optimization for Lloyd Clients that may include:
- Network, firewall, and Wireless Access Points around vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet and Meraki
- Server and file migrations including migration to Microsoft Azure and other third-party platforms
- Environment virtualization including VMware ESX and Azure Virtual Machines
- Office 365 implementation around Exchange and other applications
- Customer office and data center relocations
- Installation, configuration, and optimization for Lloyd Clients that may include:
- Vendor/Client Coordination
- Partner with Clients and vendors to gather business requirements to roll out client application upgrades smoothly
- Internal Collaboration and Documentation
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are handled appropriately
- Utilize time entry system for entering time and notes about work performed efficiently and in a timely manner
- Maintain up to date records in Lloyd’s internal documentation tools
- Engage in Continuous Learning and maintain certifications as it relates to Lloyd technology partners
- Client Documentation
- Update and create documentation for client’s project activities and ensure all standard documentation is created and maintained
Criteria for Success
- Ability to act as a Lloydian cultural ambassador, representing and exemplifying the firm’s core values and behavioral norms.
- 1-2 years of IT industry experience, preferably in a Professional or Managed Services environment
- Experience using ConnectWise or a similar ticketing system
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Client focus with an ability to maintain relationships and resolve client conflicts
- Detail oriented; follow established policies and procedures
- Hold Microsoft certifications ie. MCITP, MCSE, etc. a huge plus
Technical Competencies

- Cisco and Meraki networking
- Microsoft Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016
- Understanding of Microsoft Active Directory
- VMware and Hyper V
- File migration strategies such as Robocopy
- Experience with Microsoft Exchange 2013, 2016
- Microsoft Office 2013, 2016
- Remote desktop technologies (Windows RDS, Citrix)
- Kaseya and ConnectWise experience a plus
Role Logistics
- This is a full-time position
- Days and hours of work are dependent on Project work and needs of clients
- This position allows for a flexible work from home / in office arrangement, where you’ll only be required to head into Lloyds offices or client offices depending on project work and client emergencies.
- Expected Salary $60,000- $75,000 depending on experience
