About the Job
Our client performs structural concrete repairs, carbon fiber strengthening, waterproofing, resinous flooring, and protective lining installations. They are currently seeking Project Engineers for bridge and road construction, as well as other infrastructure construction projects.
Our Project Estimators organize and perform pricing and bidding of construction projects. They have strong communication and interpersonal skills to present a project or bid to a client, as well as field questions about any given project, anytime. They are looking for someone who is not only good at building an estimate, but someone who is also good at building relationships.
As a Project Estimator, you will work with the management team to determine the appropriate project fit for the company. You will price and bid construction projects and work with the management team to support the company goals. You will have a career that involves creative problem solving along with the opportunity for growth and development.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Review project plans, requirements and specifications
- Review all bid documents and assess project risks
- Evaluate project logistics and project schedules
- Determine labor and equipment costs
- Construct accurate quantity takeoffs and materials pricing
- Compare and analyze competitive subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Prepare bid quotes and bid packages
Qualifications & Requirements
- Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree preferred
- Three (3) years of construction management experience preferred
- Extensive knowledge of construction means and methods, costs and engineering principles
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage time, as well as meet deadlines in a fast paced, demanding environment
- Self-motivated and self-regulating
- Strong follow-up
- Ability to establish relationships
- Capability of leading hard bids, negotiated bids, and conceptual projects
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and presentation skills
- Advanced computer skills with estimating software
