We have an immediate long-term opportunity with one of our prime clients for a position of Project Manager - AWS to Azure Migration to work in Deerfield Beach, FL on Hybrid basis.
Pay Rate : $50 to $58
Project Details:
- Looking for a Project Manager. DRIVE project. Manages Life Cycle Management team. Any and every software that is used at SET (South East Toyota). They need to make sure that the software is update to date. LCM environment. App modernization, migrate AWS to Azure. Very large scale initiative. They have very aggressive timelines to move AWS to Azure. They started this project in January of 2024. They are behind schedule, they have a vendor that is helping with the implementation. They need someone to facilitate and get things done. They need to work well with infra, apps, BAs, QAs. Cloud implementation experience. Ability to speak and elaborate things in-front of leadership. They need someone proactive. Moving the entire application, code, the database. Leading the charge between the 2 teams.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Agile project management or as a Scrum Master.
Experience with Azure or general cloud technologies.
Proven experience in managing project financials.
Nice to Have:-
- Azure Cloud Certification
Certifications:
Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent is a plus.
Skills:
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
Ability to coach and mentor team members new to Agile practices.
Job Description
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Agile Project Manager / Senior Scrum Master with a strong background in Agile methodologies and experience with cloud technologies, preferably Azure. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing project financials and be willing to work in a hybrid environment.
Project Overview: This role involves leading an enterprise-wide initiative to migrate applications from AWS to Azure. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring a smooth transition, leveraging their expertise in cloud technologies and Agile practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Agile Leadership: Lead Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
Project Management: Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
Financial Management: Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
Cloud Technology: Utilize knowledge of Azure or general cloud technologies to guide project development and deployment.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any issues.
Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment, ensuring team members are motivated and aligned with project goals.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and project outcomes.
Agile Coaching: Work with team members who are not completely familiar with Agile methodologies, providing guidance, training, and support to help them understand and adopt Agile practices.
