Project Manager - Civil Site Development at The Planet Group

A Civil Site Development Project Manager responsible for managing one or multiple projects with a strong understanding of civil site design with previous experience working with water, sewer, and storm drainage infrastructure design projects. 

Job Duties:

1. Managing one or multiple projects for multiple clients.
2. Proposal preparations and fee development.
3. Visit clients, job sites and consultant offices as needed to support the project and business development needs.
4. Monitor scope, schedules, and budget for projects and business unit.
5. Managing engineering work and interface with other disciplines as needed.
6. Create the scope of work for projects.
7. Communicate and coordinate efforts and ideas.
8. May supervise engineers and technicians.
9. Tracks projects in Vision/ Microsoft project with intermediate/advanced skill.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
• P.E.
• 6+ years' experience in design of public and private projects.
• Experience applying diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas.
• Demonstrates knowledge and application of advanced techniques, theories, precepts, and practices in the civil engineering field and related sciences and disciplines.
• Plans, coordinates and directs a large and important engineering project or a number of smaller projects with some complex features for a limited number of clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Working experience with AutoCAD, preferably Civil 3D.
• Business development skills.
• Strong leadership qualities.
• Understanding of Business Financial Information.
