Location:Remote (Preferably in the Eastern Time Zone)
Pay Rate:$35.00/hour
Hours:Full time, M-F,8am-5pm
Duration:3-5 months
The Project Manager III is responsible for the successful delivery of projects as outlined in the SOW within budget and on schedule. Further, this role is the primary conduit for communication with the customer regarding the initiation, ongoing delivery, and successful completion of the project. This position is not only responsible for delivering the contracted scope of work but to ensure that the customer’s expectations are managed, and that the customer has a positive experience throughout the deployment.In addition to effective project delivery, this role will collaborate with sales and customers to define solutions, generate estimates, and document the scope of engagements. This position is supported virtually by a cross functional team globally.
Description:
- Be the primary point of contact for Professional Services in region to support delivery and business development activities.
- Coordinate resources and manage deliverables for customer projects, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
- Serve as the primary support liaison between the company, engineers, third party providers, and our customers.
- Updating project collaboration systems and to keep the Sales team informed on the status of ongoing projects.
- Provide visibility to the global Professional Services leadership to identify opportunities to grow the business to include the effectiveness of the go to market message, feedback on offerings, and capabilities in region.
- Embed with the local sales and services delivery teams to enable cross functional collaboration and establishing a solid foundation upon which to grow the regional Professional Services business.
Qualifications:
- 10 years’ experience in Project Management and/or Practice management field.
- Experience in, Data Center Technologies and other aspects of the IT Asset Lifecyle.
- Knowledgeable in MS-Project, Office365 including SharePoint Online Visio, Salesforce, and Enterprise Monitoring Systems.
- Formal training and execution experience with Project Management.
- Experience using various project and program management methodologies in a variety of environments.
- Experience in pre-sales cycles.
- Deep project management skills related to complex IT projects.
- Strong customer facing skills to include presentation skills.
- Strong written and verbal skills in English.
- Comfortable in matrix organizations and collaborating cross functionally.
- Competent in the use of technology with excellent ICT, presentation and documentation skills.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree Required.
- PMP or equivalent certification.
Travel:
- 15%
