OVERVIEW
Since 1972, Covenant House has served and advocated for youth and young families experiencing homelessness, human trafficking, and exploitation. Our overarching goal is to end homelessness among youth and young families by helping them achieve housing stability, heal from trauma, tap into their innate resilience, and hone their interests and skills to forge new pathways to independence. This work is carried out across Covenant House sites in 34 cities in the US, Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, and Honduras.
PRIMARY FUNCTION OF POSITION
The Project Manager, Development Operations (Data Entry) is an entry-level position on the Development Operations team that includes data entry, file compilation, and colleague-as-customer support. The role requires a service-focused mindset and allows for daily connection with colleagues from many levels of the organization. This role may serve as a springboard to opportunities that include increased responsibilities and compensation, as mastery of required skills is attained.
The Project Manager, Development Operations (Data Entry) reports directly to the AVP, Development Operations.
SALARY RANGE: ($48,000 - $59,000)

When determining a team member's base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receiving and processing contact record updates via data entry and file compilation
- Receiving and triaging data support requests
- Clearly communicating with colleagues about the status of their requests
- Creating back-end data records as assigned by other Development Operations staff
- Verifying data quality in files provided for import
- Mapping standardized data files for import to the CRM
- Project managing work for teams across Development departments
- Maintaining operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
- Maintaining donor confidence and client protection by keeping information confidential
- Completing other administrative duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Data entry or related office experience
- 40+ words/minute typing skills
- Must be tech savvy and have G-Suite familiarity, including Drive and Sheets, and Microsoft Office experience, including great Excel skills
- Familiarity with project management software, particularly Asana, is a plus
- Must have a can-do attitude and proactive approach
- Aptitude and desire for learning
- Self-motivated & goal-oriented
