We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Manager to lead our Ground Up, Commercial, Interior, and Industrial projects. This role is a unique opportunity to manage and oversee all aspects of construction projects from conception to completion. You will be at the helm of some of the most challenging and rewarding construction projects, ensuring that they are executed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle management, from preconstruction planning to project completion.
2. Developing comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases.
3. Managing contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
4. Utilizing project management software and tools to monitor working hours, budget, plans, and money spend.
5. Ensuring all project deadlines are met and assessing potential risks and issues that could affect project completion.
6. Keeping all stakeholders informed about project progress and addressing any issues that arise.
7. Ensuring all safety and compliance measures are met throughout the project's duration.
8. Conducting project reviews to assess outcomes and areas for improvement.
9. Building and managing effective relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Project Manager role should have:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years proven experience in a project management role within the construction industry, particularly in Ground Up, Commercial, Interior, and Industrial projects.
3. Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
4. Excellent knowledge of relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
5. Proficiency in project management software tools.
6. Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
7. Strong client-facing and internal communication skills.
8. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
9. Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
10. Excellent analytical skills and a strong attention to detail.
11. PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
