We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow SPM Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of Strategic Portfolio Management initiatives using ServiceNow. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of SPM modules, including Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Application Portfolio Management (APM), and Resource Management, ensuring that scope, budget, and timelines are effectively managed. This role will drive the implementation, optimization, and management of portfolios, projects, and programs, providing enterprise-wide visibility into key strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

• Scope Management: Define, manage, and document project scope using Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) modules, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations.
• Budget Oversight: Monitor project budgets through the Financial Management module in ServiceNow, providing real-time tracking of costs, variances, and forecasts to maintain alignment with the organization’s financial objectives.
• Timeline Management: Develop and manage detailed project plans in PPM, leveraging the Demand Management and Resource Management modules to balance workloads and meet deadlines across multiple teams and portfolios.
• Resource Allocation: Optimize resource planning and allocation using Resource Management, ensuring efficient utilization of staff and alignment with project requirements.
• SPM Implementation: Lead the implementation of Application Portfolio Management (APM) to rationalize and optimize the organization’s application landscape, integrating strategic objectives with the project execution layer. Use PPM and Investment Funding modules to ensure that investment decisions are aligned with organizational priorities.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Use Program Management and Executive Dashboards to provide real-time reporting and updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency in project performance and alignment with strategic goals.
• Risk and Issue Management: Identify and mitigate project risks using the Risk Management and Issue Tracking modules within the ServiceNow platform, ensuring proactive resolution and minimal disruption to project deliverables.
• Change Management: Lead Change Portfolio Management, ensuring that new processes or tools are implemented with minimal disruption, driving adoption across various teams.
• Performance Tracking: Utilize Performance Analytics within SPM to measure KPIs, project success metrics, and portfolio health, ensuring continuous improvement and meeting organizational goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience managing ServiceNow SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management) implementations, particularly with modules like PPM, APM, Demand, and Resource Management.
• 5+ years of project management experience focusing on scope, budget, and timeline management in an IT or digital transformation setting.
• Deep familiarity with Financial Management and Investment Funding capabilities within ServiceNow for budget oversight.
• Strong skills in stakeholder management, communication, and reporting using Executive Dashboards.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, and an ability to tailor management approaches to different project frameworks.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master, or ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist for SPM/PPM.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Expertise in Application Portfolio Management (APM), especially in managing and rationalizing IT portfolios.
• Experience with ITBM (IT Business Management) capabilities within ServiceNow.
• Prior experience leading Agile transformation initiatives across diverse teams and portfolios.
