We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator (volunteer programs) for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in North Chicago, IL Details for the position are as follows:

- Pay rate up to $39hr based on experience.
- This is a hybrid role; 3 days onsite/2 days remote.
- 12+ month contract - (potential to extend or convert based on performance & budget).
- Responsible for coordinating logistics for our year-around volunteer program for employees in the U.S. and Puerto Rico and general administrative.
- Will work closely with teams of employees, community nonprofit partners and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of team-based volunteer activities and oversee team operations.
- Volunteer project coordination
- Serve as primary contact and facilitator for volunteers in search of opportunities and provide support and guidance.
- Collaborate with Client teams requesting volunteer projects to match team volunteer needs with approved and vetted nonprofit opportunities.
- Communicate team volunteer project goals, timelines, and expectations to volunteers.
- Coordinate and support all planning details of team volunteer activities including, but limited to, pre-project planning, t-shirt distribution, project set-up, coordination with facilities management, etc.
- Build and maintain registration pages within Client's employee volunteering portal.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to team volunteering projects participants volunteers.
- Maintain accurate records of volunteer hours, activities, and achievements.
- Ensure teams meet the requirements of the internal guidelines on team volunteering, including waiver collections.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the volunteer program.
- Track feedback from volunteers and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare reports on volunteer activities and impact and provide regular progress updates.
- General administrative support, including management of shared mailboxes and respond to inquiries, support invoice processing, track payment status, pulling together financial reports and provide financial performance status updates as needed.
- 2 years or more of demonstrated professional in the volunteer program and/or event coordination field.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work creatively within budget.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using volunteer management software or event management software such as Benevity, Cybergrants and Submittable, preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite of tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
