What you’ll be doing:
+ Tactical aspects include system maintenance, reporting and interfacing directly with the field sales team regarding all Prospect Desk performance metrics and process enhancements.
+ Ability to solve business problems by conducting analysis, reporting key findings, and making recommendations for solutions.
+ Conduct analytics to proactively monitor Prospect and Lead quality and drive action based on findings.
+ Participate in strategic discussions to influence senior management on business decisions surrounding enhancements.
+ Internal customer interactions – will interact on a regular basis with the Staples Business Advantage Sales Ops, Sales, Marketing, SDS/Technology and Strategy teams.
+ Will be responsible for communicating with senior level sales customers (ASDs, AVPs, VPs) regarding Prospect Desk processes and deployments.
+ Provide a support service and interface directly with the Business Development sales leaders.
+ Strategic Perspective: This individual must gain an understanding of the strategic mandates of the business and be able to interpret the results of their analysis considering the overall business strategy.
+ Change Management: Following the senior leadership approvals, this analyst is also responsible for driving their recommendations into realized gains through business adoption.
What you bring to the table:
+ Ability to manage multiple projects (requests) at once with a sense of urgency required to work in a deadline driven environment.
+ Ability to adapt to new business environments as the business need changes.
+ Strong Excel knowledge with the capability to develop complex formulas to identify root causes or data patterns.
+ Experience in working with large data sets and ability to extract meaningful insights using Pivot Table and Slicer.
+ Project Management knowledge with the capability to independently develop roadmaps & project plans.
+ Demonstrated excellence in driving cross-functional projects and/or business improvement initiatives.
+ Strong problem-solving & analytical mindset.
+ Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in related field.
+ 3-5 years’ experience in sales enablement and support, data analytics, supporting technology solutions and/or sales operations.
What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:
+ Salesforce.com experience.
+ Advanced MS Excel and strong knowledge of Power Query, Power BI.
+ Project management certification a plus.
