The ideal candidate is motivated by pride in quality work, has a strong attention to detail, and is a current junior or senior enrolled in a Civil engineering, Construction Management, or Geotechnical degree program. He or she will assist Project Managers in pre-construction activities and will be actively involved in all aspects of the project to completion.

Job Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Manager with paperwork / documentation control
- Actively participate in Pre-Construction Activities such as:
- Scope Review
- Prepare and process project submittals
- SmartSites© Cost Code and Budget Review
- Project Schedule
- Basic Project scheduling
- Understanding Critical Path
- Understanding self-preformed critical path vs. Understanding self-performed non-critical path work vs. overall project critical path
- Prepare supervisor Job Package
- Assist in Active-Construction Activities such as:
- Safety - Working with supervisors and safety personnel to recognize job hazards.
- Quality - Utilize Propeller and Bluebeam to confirm and document that work has been built in accordance with the plans and specifications.
- Use technology to make informed smart decisions about the project.

- Identifying / Projecting Cost Code Quantity discrepancies
- Closing Cost Codes upon completion
- Theory of budget modification
- Assist Supervisor with paperwork / documentation control
- GPS Rover Survey Operations
- Perform small topographic surveys
- Perform site layout for planning purposes of our Project Supervisors and Project Managers
Additional Experience & Job Requirements:
- Junior or Senior currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Geotechnical degree program
- No previous work experience required; previous internship is a plus
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required.
- Drone operation experience is a plus
- Civil 3D experience is a plus
- Calm focus on detail
- Responsibility in caring for work tools (drone, GPS rover, vehicle)
