Job Purpose:
Vivid Impact is seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager Inventory Specialist for its Convenience and Retail division. The ideal candidate will build and maintain strong relationships with assigned convenience store business units, focusing on the accurate management of their inventory. You will manage multiple business units, ensuring timely and precise inventory replenishments and handling promotional signage logistics. This role requires weekly coordination, inventory oversight, and the execution of process improvements to streamline operations.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead weekly calls with assigned convenience chain business units to review inventory status, updates, and needs.
- Generate and review weekly inventory reports for accuracy with each business unit, identifying gaps or inaccuracies.
- Oversee external purchases and coordinate replenishments for assigned business units.
- Regularly identify and remove unnecessary or obsolete inventory to maintain efficiency.
- Confirm inventory quantities and pick locations, ensuring accuracy for each item.
- Monitor stock levels and place reorders for low stock items, ensuring availability and avoiding stockouts.
- Manage the process of adding new inventory items in collaboration with business units.
- Participate in cycle count reviews, cross-referencing actual inventory counts with data in Precision POP for accuracy.
- Assist with order fulfillment tasks, such as picking, packing, and shipping orders, during downtime.
- Assist with the coordination between Fulfillment and the Inventory facility when promotions are shipped, facilitating smooth kit receiving processes.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in project management or customer service strongly preferred.
- Results-driven individual who takes initiative and works proactively.
- Approachable and professional, with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and business units.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all organizational levels.
- Capable of prioritizing workload effectively and managing time to meet multiple deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to maintain high accuracy in inventory management processes.
