Project Manager at AKKODIS

Akkodis is seeking a Project Manager for a Contract job with a client in Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid). The ideal candidate will have expertise in leading critical regulatory projects with robust stakeholder management and precise coordination.

 

Rate Range: $46/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

 

Project Manager job responsibilities include:

• Oversee the delivery of key controls associated with regulatory mandates, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

• Manage project timelines, resources, and priorities, coordinating cross-functional teams to meet project milestones and objectives.

• Lead demand management activities, negotiate project requirements and resolve conflicts with senior stakeholders.

• Collaborate closely with business analysts to understand regulatory requirements, especially in transaction reporting (e.g., CFTC/Dodd-Frank, ESMA/EMIR, MIFID).

• Provide technical analysis and data insights, leveraging Python/OOP as needed for day-to-day analysis and reporting.

• Use agile methodologies, including JIRA tools, to manage requirements, track progress, and adapt to project needs.

 

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree.

• 7–10 years as a Business Analyst or Project Manager on large, complex systems.

• Experience in regulatory projects, ideally within Transaction Reporting (e.g., CFTC/Dodd-Frank, ESMA/EMIR, MIFID).

• Strong understanding of OTC and financial derivative products, with hands-on experience in project management, demand management, and stakeholder management.

Pay Details: $46.00 to $56.00 per hour
