Job Title: Category Marketing Project Manager (Contractor)
Location: Hybrid, Bolingbrook
Contract Duration: November 2024- January 2025
Reports to: Director, Integrated Marketing (Category Marketing)

Overview:
We are seeking a highly proficient Category Marketing Project Manager (Contractor) to closely partner with the team to prepare for 2025 campaigns and activation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving efficiencies across the team, driving forward new process creation, timeline management, and PPT template development. This position will report to the Director of Integrated Marketing- Category.
Key Responsibilities:
Support category marketing projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are tracked.
Develop detailed project plans, outlining milestones, tasks, resources, and timelines.
Set-up meetings that support campaign execution, and recap follow-ups/decisions made
Create a master calendar ensuring priorities, seasonal and product launches are tracked.
Support brief and strategy development by securing customer insights and market trends.
Track and analyze performance metrics and budgets of campaigns.
Assign roles and responsibilities with cross-functional teams to track to campaign development and executionÂ
Monitor and report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate teams and escalate challenges as necessary.
Key Qualifications:
Experience:
5%2B years of experience in marketing project management, preferably within a category management, retail or consumer goods environment.
Proven experience managing cross-functional marketing campaigns, from planning to execution.
Skills:
Strong project management skills with proficiency in management tools (e.g., Monday.com) and best practices
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects simneously in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
