Our goal is to build transformative technology without ever compromising our integrity - and we’re just getting started!Project ManagerIEX is looking for a driven and experienced Project Manager to guide the development and deployment of mission-critical projects.You will create and execute processes to streamline workflows and minimize friction for the development team
You will track and stabilize critical projects, resolve roadblocks, and anticipate the team’s needs to enable IEX’s engineers to focus on the technical problems they are best equipped to solve.You will collaborate extensively with Engineering, Compliance, Operations, Marketing, Information Security and Executives to ensure that IEX’s highest-priority projects produce industry-transforming results.Your work will be varied based on IEX’s changing needs; at times, you will be enlisted to manage a complex project pipeline, coordinate engineering work and schedules, and contribute to internal and external inquiries as needed
This position requires a versatile combination of project management, process optimizations, and creating or maintaining documentation.In any capacity, you are above all else a leader who does whatever it takes to fix tough problems with order and integrity.About you: Highly organized and proficient in project-related workHighly adaptable to work seamlessly across functions, including cross collaboration with various teamsIntellectually curious, with the ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and systemsTeam player who can motivate colleagues to achieve great resultsWhat you’ll do:Create and track schedules for a multitude of deliverables, funneling all data into the strategic roadmapRun daily stand ups to capture project statuses, remove impediments and open bridges of communicationAssisting with planning, budgeting and tracking expenditures to ensure projects remain within the approved financial limitsWork with other project managers to ensure smooth transitions between delivery teamsCapture and prioritize backlog of business goals and associated projectsCommunicate to the management team and various levels of the organization around project status, risks, issues, actions, and dependenciesPromote adherence to strict compliance policies and software development proceduresCurate and maintain IEX’s software development life cycleYour Background 5+ years’ experience in project management role, having broker-dealer, financial vendor, or experience working at an exchange is a plusAgile project management experienceExperience with Atlassian toolset (such as JIRA, Confluence and Atlassian Roadmaps)Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skillsAbility to multi-task various projects within targeted timelinesUnderstanding of regulatory requirements relating to data, information retention, and technology infrastructure managementFamiliarity with Regulation NMS is a plusWhy You Should Apply:Comprehensive BenefitsNew hire stock equity (RSUs)401K employer matchUnlimited PTO100% coverage for medical, dental, and vision OneMedical membership16 weeks parental leaveWellness BenefitsFlexible workplaceEmployer charity matchLearning stipendCommuter benefitsJump Start onboarding programInternal mentor program cross-departmentallyFriendly and inclusive workplace cultureOur job titles may span more than one career level
The starting annual base pay is between $150,000 and $185,000 for this NY-based position
The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands
The annual base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future
