The Opportunity
As the Project Manager/Sales Support, this individual will be responsible for coordinating submittals, equipment selection, pricing, and shipping dates for each project. Must be detailed and customer service oriented and have excellent organizational skills. Position requires a high level of oral and written correspondence with the Sales Team, Customers, and Manufacturers to ensure timely completion of assigned projects while maintaining customer satisfaction. Must be able to work well with others in a fast-paced & high-volume environment. This individual must possess a high level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism as they will have access to sensitive, confidential information. They will contribute to the overall success of the team and promote a cohesive, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:- Create and maintain job files for each project throughout its duration
- Optimize the project through the stages of product selection, specifications, plans, estimates, proposals, value engineering, and redesign
- Adequately represent the TAS Sales team to external stakeholders.
- Prioritize external requests and queries while balancing conflicts by utilizing best judgment.
- Design and produce documents, reports, and correspondence on behalf of the sales team.
- Manage multiple projects on an ongoing basis
- Communicate with owners, architects, MEP Consultants, and General, Mechanical and Electrical Contractors
- Organize project-related data for order entry
- Respond to and track IOM & Submittal requests
- Read, understand, and interpret building plans & specifications
- Develop and grow relationships with customers, contractors, project engineers, and manufacturers
- Determine project requirements, constraints, and sales team responsibilities to meet all of the customer’s system design, installation, and maintenance expectations
- Investigate concerns, implement corrective action, and communicate with customers and co-workers as necessary to maximize customer satisfaction
Mission Critical Position:
This position is essential to the core operations and success of the organization and team. This position is responsible for ensuring seamless operation and strategic success of the Equipment Sales team and is integral to achieving success with partners, customers and manufacturers.
Key responsibilities are:
- Operational Excellence: Ensure the efficient and effective execution of coordination, logistics, project management and communication to manufacturers and customers to ensure timely completion of key projects.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks that could impact critical operations and timely delivery of projects within the project scope.
- Leadership: Provide direction and support to team members, while fostering a high-performance culture.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive critical projects and ensure timely completion.
- Customer Service: Strong customer service skills are essential for building and maintaining positive customer relationships, which directly contribute to the team’s reputation and success.
- Ethics/Integrity: Strong integrity and ethics are key in building trust and credibility within the team, internal employees, customers, and manufacturer partners.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and typically 3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the HVAC, estimating, engineering, construction management, or contracting environment; or 7-10 years equivalent combination of education and experience
- Working knowledge of MEP consulting, architecture, design, CAD, general contracting, mechanical contracting, engineering or construction industry a plus
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, deal with ambiguity, and manage high-volume projects
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Environmental Requirements
Will be required to work in an office environment and frequently in the field.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard and telephone, reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
