We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Project Manager to join our dynamic and innovative team. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, from planning to completion. Your duties will include:
1. Leading and managing the project team to ensure the successful completion of projects on time and within budget.
2. Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules and budgets.
3. Conducting regular risk assessments and implementing effective risk management strategies.
4. Overseeing contract management, including the negotiation and administration of contracts.
5. Implementing effective change management strategies to ensure project objectives are met.
6. Making critical decisions that impact the success of the project.
7. Communicating effectively with all stakeholders, including clients, team members, and suppliers.
8. Negotiating with suppliers and contractors to ensure cost-effective solutions.
9. Solving problems efficiently and effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to the project.
10. Monitoring and controlling project costs to ensure they remain within budget.
11. Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in contract management, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, team leadership, problem-solving, construction estimating, change management, decision making, communication, negotiation, cost control, and time management.
3. Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
5. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all stakeholders.
6. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
7. A thorough understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction industry.
