Project Manager - Endurance IT Services

Project Manager - 100% onsite (Chesapeake, VA)

Leads project teams responsible for delivering high quality products and services to stakeholders.  Oversees the successful implementation of medium to large projects by ensuring requirements, design, testing, and implementing are completed with high quality, on schedule and within budget.  The role ensures all project team members work collaboratively as well as individually to create a solution that meets our members’ and/or Stakeholders’ expectations.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Work closely with product, technology, operations, and 3^rd party service providers to design and implement products, services, and solutions.
  
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure they are kept up to date with progress and the business benefits are achieved.
  
• Management of projects in accordance with the bank's project methodology, and solution adheres to risk and compliance policy.
  
• Ensure the timely and accurate completion of all project deliverables by service providers and project team members.
  
• Monitor and evaluate usability or testing of systems, processes and documentation, as appropriate.
  
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues in the technology and business departments as well as service providers.
  
• Identifies, assesses, and mitigates risks and develops strategies for handling unexpected issues that may arise.
  
• Provide a high level of professionalism and customer service when interacting with employees in any position.

Minimum Required Skills & Competencies:

• Must have 3+ years previous project management experience or equivalent work experience with demonstrated skills including prioritization, scheduling, and documentation.
  
• Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
  
• Ability to recognize and focus on critical issues which may impede the timely progression or execution of projects.
  
• Strong meeting facilitation skills with ability to foster attendee participation and collaboration in small and large groups.
  
• Dependable, Self-Motivated with a Positive Attitude.
  
• Ability to think outside the box, show initiative and be inquisitive.  
  
• Ability to manage and prioritize workload effectively and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. 
  
• Deductive reasoning skills to analyze problems and respond quickly in a demanding environment.
  
• Intermediate proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
  

Desired Skills & Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in project management, Business, Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
  
• 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager or similar position responsible for defining and managing project scope, timelines, and effective delivery of products and services.
  
• PMI or PMP certification or similar from an accredited organization and plus.
