About the Job
To help aid in the creation of this new casino culture, Parkwest Bicycle Casino is looking to hire a Public Relation Players. Props assists in functions as an integral part of the gaming team by starting and maintaining new games in Poker Games in specific assigned sections.
"Plays in all poker games through 5/5 No-Limit Hold’em and 20/40 Limit Hold’em at the discretion and direction of the Casino Shift Manager"
Pay: Min wage + $20.00 HR Redrop
Responsibilities:- Assist the Casino in the starting of new games, and keeping short games in play.
- Plays in all poker games through at the discretion and direction of the Assistant Manager or Shift Manager.
- Pay all collections pursuant to the rules of Parkwest Bicycle Casino.
- Alerts the Floor person to any inappropriate customer conduct or incident.
- Display a positive and friendly demeanor.
- Maintain positive customer relations at all times.
- Remains aware of problem players, alert incoming dealer or manager if necessary.
- Do not make floor decisions: call Floor person or manager if problems occur while playing.
- While working on the casino floor follow all casino guidelines pertaining to security and being sensitive to each customers’ gaming experience.
- Specific tasks may include, but are not limited to: running chips, assisting with new game startups, cleaning up station, etc.
- Displays working knowledge of Title 31 regulations.
- Must be available to work all shifts and overtime as needed.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
- Must be 21 plus years of age.
- Must be able to pass mandatory screening which may include a background and credit check, and drug test.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a current California gambling establishment team member permit, badge or license.
- Able to deal effectively and interact well with customers and co-workers.
- Able to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
- Available for full time work which may include weekends and evening scheduling; and ready for all programs and activities.
- Able to work varied shifts and flexible schedules.
- Able to converse in English.
- Able to work independently.
- Able to work within a team environment.
Education:
High school diploma, G.E.D, or equivalent. Associate’s degree or dealer school diploma preferred.
Experience:
Must have extensive knowledge of Poker games and their rules. Excellent public relations skills and a positive, courteous and polite demeanor towards all patrons and team members. Must be able to provide their own money to play and maintain games. Team member will be reimbursed for collections that are paid to play.
