C.J. McCarthy Landscape is looking for a skilled Property Maintenance Foreman to lead our maintenance crew and oversee the execution of residential high-quality property care services. The ideal candidate will be an experienced landscape professional with strong leadership skills, a passion for property maintenance, and a commitment to managing and working alongside the crew to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.

• Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the property maintenance crew, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to the seasonal schedule.
• Understand the strengths and weaknesses of each crew member to effectively delegate tasks and responsibilities to meet budget and schedule requirements.
• Perform and oversee spring and fall cleanups, including weeding, edging, mulching, and operating leaf vacuums and other leaf removal equipment.
• Manage and execute weekly lawn mowing schedules, ensuring the proper use of commercial-grade lawn mowers, weed whackers, and backpack blowers.
• Ensure that all equipment, including lawn mowers, is properly maintained (e.g., changing blades, filters, greasing, etc.) and report any issues to management.
• Interact professionally with customers, providing updates on work progress and addressing any questions or concerns.
• Lead by example, working alongside the crew to complete daily tasks efficiently and to a high standard.

• 1 to 2 years of experience running a landscape maintenance crew preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in the landscape industry preferred, particularly in property maintenance.
• Experience driving medium-duty dump trucks and trailers.
• Proficiency in managing seasonal schedules for spring and fall cleanups, lawn mowing, trimming, pruning, and other maintenance tasks.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to mentor and manage crew members.
• Social skills to interact with customers and maintain positive relationships.
• Requirements
  • Valid MA driver's license.
  • DOT medical card (required).
