About the Job
- Prioritize production of counter dies to meet established deadlines and shipping schedules.
- Ensure proper finishing and counter die making techniques are followed throughout the process.
- In a well-lit workstation, utilize sanding blocks and a Drummel tool station (equipped with various fine-polishing tips) to sand, smooth, and polish metal stamping dies to achieve a flawless finish.
- Meticulously finish all counter dies, adhering to h+m's established quality standards.
- Conduct thorough initial and final inspections as outlined in the Work Order and Quality Manual.
- Perform die strikes as needed for internal or customer requirements.
- Participate in monthly and year-end inventory counts for raw materials, shop supplies, and finished goods.
- Assist the Counterdie Technician during peak times or absences to ensure smooth operation.
- Be open to cross-training opportunities to serve as backup for other roles.
- Process incoming shipments of raw materials and shop supplies.
- Unpack, stock, and maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Submit completed and stamped packing slips to the office.
