The Horst Group, a growing Lancaster-based, family-owned, multi-company organization is seeking a Property Manager. A Community Manager provides support in management and direction to ensure the portfolio of properties is maintained and operated in accordance with the objectives of each Association and the Company. This is a full-time primarily daytime position with some traveling within Central PA required. Core hours are Monday- Friday, with occasional evening meetings. Salary is commensurate with experience in the $48,000-$54,000 range.
Job duties and requirements:
- Prior property management, real estate experience, or related customer service management experience is REQUIRED
- Assists in the management of a portfolio of properties (8-10 minimum) located in Central PA
- Possess strong customer service skills and build/maintain relationships with the communities' residents, board members, vendors
- Ability to multi-task and be very organized
- Assists in the preparation of budgets, review financials, and process financial matters
- Assists in interpreting documents to enforce regulations and makes regular site inspections
- Assists in the negotiation with contractors and supervise projects
- Assists in the oversight of the maintenance of property and facilities by way of regular site visits
- Attends meetings (day or evening), draft meeting minutes, and assists in overseeing action plans
- Assists in resolving inquiries, questions, and complaints from owners via phone and email
