This is an opportunity for an experienced proposal manager to join a fast-growing company and work with an experienced proposal team to carry the company into the future.
The Proposal Manager is responsible for coordinating with Capture Managers, Solution Architects, Delivery Teams, teaming partners, and others to ensure proposal content is compliant and compelling according to solicitation instructions and evaluation criteria. This is a remote position with the potential for occasional office visits.

- Manage the proposal process from "Go" decision through submission ensuring a fully compliant bid.
- Develop compliant outlines and compliance matrices.
- Developing, and adhering to, a proposal schedule to ensure a timely submission.
- Collaborating with the Capture Manager to facilitate solutioning sessions to develop win themes and strategies that result in a compelling submission.
- Lead the Color Team review process.
- Coordinate content generation and adjudicate comments with the proposal team.
- Track and incorporate feedback and input from review participants.
- Support continual improvement of the proposal process, templates and artifacts.
Required Qualifications:
- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field and at least 10 years of proposal experience for federal procurements; or related experience or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
- Five (5) or more years’ experience as a Proposal Manager leading complex Federal procurements - $50M+.
- Demonstrated experience leading proposal teams on successful pursuits.
- Geographically located in the DC Metro area or adjoining state with the ability to travel as required to Karsun's Herndon, VA office and/or the DC Metro area.
The proposed salary range for this role is $135,000.00 to $175,000.00 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Karsun considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
