Position Summary

Responsible for maintaining the integrity of provider information in enterprise systems and overseeing the distribution of updated information to dental offices. This role also involves fostering positive relationships between the health plan, providers, and practice managers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain the integrity of an electronic database and assist dental provider offices with business name changes, tax ID changes, contract terminations, ownership changes, business splits, practice sales, adding associates, license changes, specialty changes, updated contract information, and provider directory assistance.

• Plan, prioritize, organize, and complete work to meet established objectives.

• Work individually or with a team to solve complex provider servicing problems.

• Act as a technical resource within the function when needed.

• Manage workflow queues for claims with address or tax identification number conflicts in provider file data.

• Handle escalated calls from client groups and make outgoing calls to dental offices.

• Resolve 1099 tax discrepancies with provider offices by verifying with external databases.

• Run queries and generate monthly reports and credentialing document verification requests.

• Screen provider enrollment packets for missing information and request necessary details from providers.

• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
