PeaceHealth is seeking a Psychiatrist for a Hospital Consult Liaison position based in the Eugene/Springfield, OR community. The position is full-time with a weekly schedule of Monday - Friday.
The addition of a psychiatrist dedicated to the Consult Service at Riverbend will ensure that patient care needs will be addressed within 24 hours of a consult request. This will also allow for better coverage for difficult discharge cases. PeaceHealth Behavioral Health Services offers a comprehensive, coordinated continuum of care. Position Highlights
- Work schedule: Monday - Friday
- Consult Liaison Psychiatry at Riverbend Medical Center as primary work site.
- Variety and interesting/challenging group of patients
- Opportunity to join a large, well respected and established Inpatient and Outpatient Psychiatry group while employed by PeaceHealth
- Some administrative responsibility
- Opportunities to mentor/teach rotating medical students through Oregon Health and Science University
- ECT Services available
