Education, Training, & Experience

1. PMHNP or Psychiatry Certificate.
2. Ability to obtain an active medical license in the state of Georgia
3. Functions well in a team environment, contributing to and supporting organizational goals and initiatives.
4. Desire to be part of a growing and high-volume psychiatry practice.

Practice Overview

Located on the main campus of Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC), Laurelwood (54 beds) provides a broad range of services for adolescents and adults experiencing mental health or substance abuse problems. Laurelwood offers a variety of treatment options including detoxification, inpatient treatment, day partial treatment, intensive outpatient treatment and aftercare support.

1. Join this growing group of twenty-one (21) Outpatient and Inpatient Psychiatrists.
2. Work with an experienced Psychiatrists in Gainesville, GA.
3. Responsible for providing assessments and diagnosis for patients presenting in NGMC and Laurelwood.
4. Includes diagnosing mental illness, prescribing medication, helping patients with conditions that can be remedied with counseling.
5. Schedule - 7on/7off - EMR Platform - EPIC
6. Behavior Health Access Center next to the ED sees 1,000 patients per month.
