Job Title: Public Accountant

Location: New York, NY
Salary: Up to $80,000
Health Insurance Contribution: Up to $1,000 per month
Vacation: 4 weeks per year
Potential for Buy-In: Strong possibility after 1 year

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Public Accountant with a minimum of 3 years of experience, specializing in tax preparation. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in preparing all types of tax returns, with a focus on personal returns. Familiarity with Lacerte is highly desirable. This role will also involve some write-ups and offers an exciting opportunity for career advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare all types of tax returns, with a heavy emphasis on personal returns.
• Perform write-ups as needed.
• Collaborate with clients to ensure accurate and timely tax filings.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience.
• Strong proficiency in tax preparation.
• Experience with Lacerte software is a plus.
• Must have a solid understanding of tax regulations and compliance.
