Title: Purchasing Manager
Location: Remote
Duration: 1+ year contract
Compensation: $35.00 - $38.00/hr.
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holder, or Authorized to Work in the US
Resource responsibilities include but not limited to:
1. Indirect and Direct Categories Commodity Ownership: cost reduction and cost savings posting on SPT working with BU finance and stakeholders; supplier consolidation; portfolio strategy setting and execution; review and approve purchase order transactions; Point of Contact (POC) for vendor engagements with Avaya business unit and supplier; mitigating supply base risk i.e. change of business direction; assist on invoice issues with Suppliers and BU; move Suppliers to more favorable payments terms including standard EOAP
2. Statement of Work: Review supplier Scopes of Work (SOWs) for compliance to contracted terms
3. Contract Administration: negotiating master agreements and amendments and renewals; executing Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs); reviewing and approving Statements of Work (SOWs); vendor selection based skills and cost using RFX; vendor onboading; negotiate rates with vendors; and termination of contract agreements/contractors
4. Compliance: support Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls, internal audits, and Data Privacy Amendment (DPA) validations; enforce compliance for supplier onboarding; define Process and ensure Compliance
5. Administration: manage supplier performance include PBR; own supplier relationship; approve Talentmaker requests; contract archiving using CLM/Coupa

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, and vendor management.
- Strong negotiation skills, contract management experience, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Experience in Indirect procurement will be preferred.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices, supply chain management principles, and sourcing strategies.
- Experience with procurement software/tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle Procurement, Ariba) is a plus.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
- Must be able to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
