Required Skills:

QA Engineering Lead Responsibilities:

1. Plan, develop and execute product quality strategies for Meta’s family of apps or business products.

2. Develop test strategies for business-critical projects to ensure product correctness before launch.

3. Manage a team of in-house and offshore testers to conduct black box testing.

4. Spearhead initiatives that influence engineering organizations to build a quality-driven culture.

5. Partner with engineering and infrastructure teams to leverage automation for scalable solutions to prevent regressions and ensure reliability of products.

6. Identify gaps and opportunities to improve quality.

7. Define and implement QA processes to optimize and scale testing within the product.

8. Establish and drive the adoption of quality metrics that help measure test effectiveness, efficiency, and overall quality of product.

9. Assess non-functional (e.g. i18n, l10n, a11y) product quality in collaboration with other quality focused teams and provide key insights to product teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

11. Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Software, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or related field and two years of work experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.

12. Requires two years of experience in the following:

13. 1. Quality Engineering

14. 2. Planning, designing, and executing tests and knowledge of performance and stress testing

15. 3. Implementing and maintaining quality test automation for both mobile and web applications

16. 4. Managing black box testing with remote testers

17. 5. Python, PHP, Java, JavaScript, or C/C++

18. 6. Knowledge of industry standard test automation tools and automation frameworks

19. 7. Reporting data and metrics to key stakeholders via technical demonstrations and reports

20. 8. Running PoC programs that could potentially help with efficiency and process improvements.

Public Compensation:

$172,480/year to $181,940/year + bonus + equity + benefits
