Position: Quality Assurance Technician
Location: Brea, CA
Shift: 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm, (training on 1st shift for 1st month)
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 p/h, DOE

Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance Technician will be responsible for monitoring and verifying processes to ensure food safety, regulatory compliance, and product quality. This position is responsible for conducting inspections, implementing quality control measures, and assisting with continuous improvement initiatives to support our commitment to safe, high-quality products.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of products, production lines, and packaging to ensure quality standards are met.
- Monitor and enforce food safety and quality standards, including Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Participate in internal and external audits and assist with customer or regulatory inspections.
- Work closely with production and maintenance teams to improve quality standards and reduce waste.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in quality assurance or food safety within the food or meat processing industry preferred.
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and USDA/FDA regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. (English and Spanish)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and comfortable with using quality tracking software.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in cold and wet environments.
