PAY RATE: $71476.86 - $75238.80 Per Year

JOB SUMMARY AND PURPOSE
Under the direct supervision of the Quality Assurance Supervisor, the Quality Assurance Analyst will act as a team expert and liaison for all Quality Assurance related matters. This role will support in developing, maintaining, and updating departmental, programmatic, and agency tools, resources, and training materials to ensure overall compliance across documentation and databases with regard to agency, funder, and regulatory requirements. This role will also support with and guide the team through internal audits, external audits, program support, and Correction Action Plan responses.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that all external audits go smoothly, communicating with Director of CQI, Quality Assurance Supervisor, programs and other departments as needed to prepare accordingly.
- Support in the development and/or implementation of corrective action plan (CAP) responses.
- Serve as QA system administrator in programmatic knowledge-based platforms.
- Support in the development and maintenance of procedural and client tracking systems for programs.
- Create trainings and resources for department, programs, and agency.
- Conduct agency-wide trainings on standards, best practices, and funder-specific guidelines.
- Support in training new QA members on departmental and team procedures and practices.
- Support in creating and/or updating programmatic tracking tools.
- Evaluate internal systems and QA procedures from a Quality Assurance perspective and ensure VOALA, regulatory, and funder standards are met.
- Support programs during startup process to ensure compliance with all documentation and database requirements.
- Oversee a team of Quality Assurance Reviewers’ performance of the CQI procedures with their assigned VOALA Programs.
- Review the work of team.
- Ensure all CQI procedures are being followed.
- Ensure all mandatory funder/grant requirements are being reviewed.
- Conduct CQI procedures with assigned VOALA Programs:
- Execute CQI procedures to ensure that program files and database entries are accurate and in accordance with all requirements and regulations.
- Perform internal audits for assigned program each fiscal year.
- Strives to have all assigned VOALA programs “audit ready” for external audits.
- Ensure that identified programmatic deficiencies across QA team are corrected in accordance with standards and best practice.
- Familiarity with program contracts and their requirements.
- Keeps up to date with all program funder requirements by attending workshops and meetings.
- Conduct special audits upon request for programs with corrective action plans or otherwise identified by Director of CQI.
- Provide program support, as needed, to ensure all requirements are in place.
- Review audit results from funders and coordinate program visits to correct concerns and findings.
- Track, resolve, and document continuous quality improvement issues.
- Support program leaders and supporting staff with all QA-related concerns and issues.
- Conduct ongoing meetings with assigned program personnel to provide technical support with regards to data quality management.
- Other duties as may be assigned by Director of CQI and QA Supervisor.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to pass a fingerprint clearance, background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience (4 years of relevant experience / coursework)
EXPERIENCE:
- 4 years’ experience in quality assurance, data-driven environment, and/or systems development.
- 3 years’ experience in database operations/management
- 2 years’ experience with nonprofit organizations.
- 1 years’ experience as Quality Assurance Coordinator or related role.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Working knowledge of Medi-Cal regulations
