About the Job
Falck is a is a global emergency medical services provider originating from Denmark that services 3 states in the US including: California, Oregon, and Colorado. Falck has been operating in the US since 2010 and is the second largest private provider of emergency medical services in the country today. Our BLS and ALS services impact not only the lives of our patients, but their families and communities.
This position will be primarily remote but may be required to occasionally report to our Corporate HQ in the City of Orange.
We are looking to add to our Data Team!
Position Summary:
This position will be responsible for accurately reviewing all late calls in the LA County 911 system. The review of the late response will determine if the timestamps are correct or if they should be adjusted to be more accurate. If there is proof that a more correct timestamp exists, this position will correct the timestamp & make a notation in the call explaining the reason for the change.
The Quality Assurance Analyst will need to have a great understanding of how an ambulance operates from start to finish. This position will use that knowledge to identify timestamps that may be wrong in the database & will research those calls to determine if more accurate timestamps should be applied to the call. For example, if a “Transporting” timestamp occurs less than 2 minutes after the “At Scene” timestamp it is likely an error since it typically takes more than 2 minutes while the crew remains on scene of an incident.
The Quality Assurance Analyst is anticipated to work 3-4 hours Tue-Fri & additional hours on Monday to review the additional call volume that occurred over the weekend. This position will support Falck’s 911 Operations in Los Angeles County.
