Position Overview: To complete various inspection and verification related tasks, such as: conducting audits, investigations, inspection, and filing reports related to the tasks. The goal is to identify, investigate, control, and inform.

Position Overview: To complete various inspection and verification related tasks, such as: conducting audits, investigations, inspection, and filing reports related to the tasks. The goal is to identify, investigate, control, and inform.
Essential Job Functions:
- Perform quality assurance inspections at various stages of the production process. Includes verifying incoming work bundles, visual quality inspections on finished garments and verifying special labeling and packaging requests.
- Work closely with Quality Manager, Director of Manufacturing, Director of Operations, and other key personnel to coordinate, facilitate, and lead the development and maintenance of corporate quality assurance and quality initiatives.
- Establish goals, record, track, measure and deliver reports on progress of quality assurance and improvement activities as needed.
- Take leadership and responsibility for determining compliance exceptions based on experience, product knowledge, and historical information.
- Reject work that does not meet NSA quality standards.
- Notify Director of Manufacturing, or appropriate Supervisor of any non-conformances found with regards to quality, workmanship, and measurements.
- Work collaboratively with Quality Manager, Director of Manufacturing, Product Managers, and other key operations and sales personnel to effectively investigate, process and administer product returns and documented customer complaints (RGA’s).
- Work alongside the Director of Manufacturing and department supervisors to conduct internal department audits and identify areas for improvement within the establishment.
- Generate and submit the appropriate forms and reports to effectively communicate and document improvement needs detected during investigations, inspections, and audits.
- Have open communication with the Director of Manufacturing regarding problems, issues, and non-conformances found.
- Offer new ideas (OFI’s) based on your textile education and/or previous work experience.
- Other tasks, as needed and determined by the Director of Manufacturing, to promote awareness, improvement, and organization.
- May be reassigned to assist other departments.

Qualifications:
Education & Certifications: High school diploma or GED is preferred.

Skills:
- Detail-oriented with strong personal skills.
- Excellent communication and writing proficiency.
- An ability to detect and report non-conformances.
- Proficient computer, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook skills.
