Quality Contrl Tech Anlin - PGT Innovations

The Quality Control Technician performs inspection, documentation, and reporting to support the efficiency and effectiveness of the company's production.

• Performs audits on assembled products using precise procedures.
• Conducts inspections on productions to maintain a consistent level of quality.
• Responsible for reporting quality to production and leadership.
• Assists quality team and leads in evaluating product quality using standards and inspection requirements.
• Educate and coach the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence.
• Assist in training new hires and other team members as necessary.
• Support leadership with investigating product defects and quality issues.
• Collaborates with managers to identify ways to improve efficiency; and help implement actions.
• Assists managers with related duties as assigned.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic mathematics and recordkeeping.
• Ability to use testing equipment.
• Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills.
• Thorough understanding of manufacturing procedures, mechanics, and regulations.
• Visual alertness to read and convey instructions, graphics, and/or drawings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other related systems.
• Prolonged periods working on feet and repetitive movements.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of related work experience desired.
