Job Title: Quality Control Inspector Location: Austin, TXZip Code: 78738Start Date: Right Away Job Type: Direct Hire - US Citizenhip requiredPay Rate: $26.50-$34.60/hr DoEKeywords: #QualityEngineeringJobs #QualityControlInspector JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:* Executing Quality Control processes associated with purchased product, manufacturing operations, and customer quality requirements.* Inspection of printed circuit boards / assemblies (PCB / PCBAs), verification of electrical, electronic, and electromechanical (EEE) components, and cable assemblies.* Inspection using calipers, height gauges, thread gauges, and VMMs (Vision Measuring Machine).* Documentation of inspection activities using electronic information systems, written logs, and labels.* Assist in the development, maintenance, and improvements of inspection methods, inspection plans, and internal quality procedures and processes.* Assist with the resolution to internal/external nonconformance using root cause, corrective action, and 8D methodologies.* Assist in data analysis and reporting of department metrics as required. * Assist with the continuous improvement initiatives.* Assist in the resolution of audit findings, observations, and recommendations.* Assist with the control and disposition of non-conforming material (MRB).* Drive scheduling of day-to-day processes; ensure timely and accurate turnaround.* Other QC duties as assigned.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:* High School Diploma or higher ( Associate Degree in a technical field preferred) * Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience including a minimum of 2 years of experience in PCB/PCBA inspection required.* Experience with ERP and PLM software systems. * Proficiency with reading engineering documents, CAD drawings, and detailed work instructions.* Experience with PCB/PCBA Boards* Experience with microscope visual inspections* Experience with AS9100 OR ISO9001 Quality Management Systems along with IPC-A-610 / J-STD-001 certification.* Experience in the aerospace or electronics industry is desired If you are interested in this role, please apply via the apply now link provided.
