Job Summary
Completes heat treatment process, visual inspection, and quality compliance testing on all finished products.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
+ Completes daily instrument calibration of XRF.
+ Loads and unloads barrel and reviews traveler to sort orders that requires use of drying chamber.
+ Transports products from drying chamber to the cool down area.
+ Completes visual inspection for significant surface imperfections using the visual defects and requirements table.
+ Uses handheld instruments, calibrator, or tape measurer to verify customer specified appearance, adhesion, stamp and composition of products for every order.
+ Inputs handheld instrument results into conversion system for details on micron, zinc, and nickel composition.
+ Verifies correct composition requirements and submits all visual and instrument data into order system to confirm inspection completion.
+ Inputs imperfections or defects on parts into the system to assist in finding the origin of error.
+ References test chart to confirm quantity of parts required for quality testing.
+ Maintains a clean work area for barrel loading/unloading and quality check.
+ Completes a full inspection of all rack products.
+ Uses word processing, spreadsheets, or other common software systems to generate data and reports for customers.
+ Performs and documents internal quality audits as required.
+ Supports customer and 3rd party audits as needed.
+ Other duties as assigned.

+ Ability to read tape measure, Pi tape, and micrometer.
+ Performs basic mathematical calculations.
Education
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.
Work Experience
+ Successfully worked in an ISO certified system or equivalent preferred.
+ 1-2 years as a Quality Inspector or Quality Technician with good knowledge of various types of measuring/testing equipment, styles, and types of materials.
+ Experience controlling and/or calibrating measuring equipment.
+ Prior experience in a warehouse/manufacturing setting preferred.
Physical Requirements
+ Ability to work in cold, hot, and/or dusty environment with noisy conditions.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently
+ Prolonged periods of standing
