Job Description:
- Pay: $28 to $32hr (W2)
- Shift hours: 8:30am to 5:00pm – Monday through Friday (Onsite).
- 6 month assignment – possibility to extend or convert based off performance and budget.
- Under the direction of the department management, the Quality Technician will perform a variety of functions within Quality Assurance/Operations.
- Performs basic routine inspection of electronic, electro-mechanical and/or mechanical materials, components and sub-assemblies received, in process of manufacture, or manufactured, for conformance with quality assurance standards.
- Inspection of incoming raw and finished goods materials.
- Additional responsibilities include: documentation of equipment incidents including calibration and maintenance, correspondence with the various teams responsible for technical evaluation of parts/product, tracking of non-conforming parts/issues, and CAPA support/execution.
- Education: High school degree or GED required.
- Prior experience with PCBA and solder inspection (IPC-610 certification) is a plus.
- Prior documentation experience.
- Experience with non-conforming parts/issues.
