Quality Control Inspector / Structural Steel - Massillon, Ohio - JOB 24-00766

Salary Range: $50k - $60k Permanent Position with Benefits.

Massillon, Ohio Structural Steel Manufacturer is seeking to hire an experienced Quality Control Inspector of Structural Steel.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Graduate, post-secondary education is a plus
• 2 or more years' experience in quality control for the structural steel industry is STRONGLY desired
• Must be able to read and interpret fabrication drawings, sketches, and weld symbols to inspect structural steel beams from 2 feet to 45 feet in length
• Familiar with physical inspection tools to include gages, squares, and tape measures to perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections based on AISC (American Institute of Steel Construction) guidelines and standards
• Physically fit to work in a shop / manufacturing environment (walk, stand, kneel) and occasionally lift up to 50lbs
• Salary (7am – 4:30pm) or hourly (6am – 4:30pm netting a 47.5hr week) M-F will be considered (typically no Saturday or Sunday)
• Candidates will be required to complete a culture index (personality test) prior to interviewing

Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
