**Position Summary
**
The Quality Control Technician / CMM Programmer position is responsible for supporting the execution of quality management systems, procedures, and policies using metrology, and physical inspection. Conducts application and analysis testing and inspection of parts to ensure standards are met; uses same to develop, operate and improve quality control systems. Supports and advises management on all aspects of quality control. The role will serve the operations of Mobis North America Electrified Powertain, LLC (MNAe).
**Essential Functions
**¨NBSP;(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)
Develop and implement systems to ensure products are produced to meet or exceed customer requirements and expectations.
Perform CMM programming for all parts which require measurement using the CMM machine.
Train quality control specialists how to correctly operate the CMM machines.
Participate in the change management process to ensure the products continue to meet customer requirements.
Participate in cross-functional teams with other departments, business, and engineering disciplines.
Establish the principles of product quality evaluation and control for the system.
Provide independent oversight and review of deliverables throughout the lifecycle of each program.
Assist management with the development and revision of quality programs.
Assist in defining/developing quality program status indicators, performance measurements, and reporting requirements.
Assists with implementing inspection plans, FTTQ, In-process, final inspection, sampling, and inspection acceptance criteria.
Perform internal process audits to assess compliance with standards and the internal quality system, including investigation, presentation of observations and findings, and reporting.
Apply problem-solving methodologies in identifying, prioritizing, communicating, and resolving all quality issues.
Document the ramifications from in-process quality issues such as downtime and OS&D and chargeback to the responsible parties.
Irregular quality training for workers (process failure cases, improvement measures, BSA disassembly/assembly, etc.)

**CMM Programmer responsibilities:
**
Program and calibrate the coordinate measuring machine (CMM)
Conduct quality control inspections
Write programs to be efficient and minimize quality issues
Write CMM programs to support inspection activities (as needed)
Train and develop quality staff as designated by QC Manager to further grow staff
Prepare detailed inspection documentation such as written descriptions of inspection results
Investigate causes of dimensional deviations and recommend corrective actions
Perform maintenance as necessary
Work with a team to meet manufacturing deadlines

**Basic Qualifications

**Required Education & Experience
**
Associates degree in related field or equivalent on-the-job experience
3+ years quality control in a manufacturing setting
At least 2+ years in a CMM programmer role
Strong understanding of GD&T

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
Proven experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
**Preferred Education & Experience
**
Bachelor's degree is preferred with a strong preference in quality, electronic, electrical, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering area
Experience working with gears in a close tolerance discipline
CMM Operator Certification
**Licenses and Registrations:
**None required
**Working Conditions
**: Incumbent spends less than 50% of the time on the manufacturing floor
