Quality Engineer - Aerospace - Intertek Testing Services NA Inc

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our Business Assurance team. This will be a full-time remote/home-based position. Duties: - Technical review of aerospace reports, data, and records, both in iEnable and OASIS. - Responsible for certificate review and issue. Also other duties assigned by APM

What will you be doing?

• Track and perform corrective action (Closing in 30, 60 or 90 days)
• Review and approve reports in iEnable and Oasis.
• Document resolutions to corrective actions
• Tracking errors on reports and reporting.
• Creates reports, including overdue corrective action reports, Common errors, Overdue reports and sends to management
• Update databases
• Perform internal audits
• Help with witness audits
• Perform other work as required

What it takes to be successful in this role:

• Bachelors Degree in Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, or the equivalent in education, experience and training
• At least 2 years of aerospace experience in the last 10 years.
• Prior AS9100 experience is required; experience as an AS9100 lead auditor is preferred.
• Prior experience in the medical industries is preferred
• Excellent communication skills, in both verbal and written formats
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities
• Prior database experience
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Must be flexible
• Ability to travel as business needs dictate
• This is a remote position; however, applicants must reside in and be able to legally work in the United States.
