Express Employment Professionals of Bradenton, FL is currently searching for a Quality Engineer for an electronics manufacturing company in the Bradenton/Sarasota area.

Duties:
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of electronic components, assemblies, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and work instructions for electronic production processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions to address non-conformities and quality issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and supply chain to identify and resolve quality-related problems.
- Utilize statistical tools and techniques for data analysis and process improvement.
- Lead quality audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Provide training and support to production personnel on quality-related topics.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Maintain documentation and records related to quality assurance activities.

Requirements:
- Bachelor''s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in quality engineering within electronic production or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of electronic components, circuits, and systems.
- Experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) and regulatory requirements (e.g., IPC standards).
- Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform root cause analysis.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., Certified Quality Engineer) is a plus.
