As a Quality Inspection Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Supervising the daily activities of the Quality Inspection team, ensuring they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our quality standards.
2. Overseeing the inspection of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with design specifications.
3. Managing the Non-Conformance (NC) process, including the initiation, investigation, and closure of NC reports.
4. Maintaining and continuously improving our Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with industry standards.
5. Participating in the Documented Material Review (DMR) process, ensuring that all non-conforming materials are appropriately documented and dispositioned.
6. Developing and implementing quality plans, programs, and procedures using quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and analyses.
7. Training and mentoring team members on quality processes and best practices.
8. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address and resolve quality issues.
9. Using the Epicor ERP system to track, analyze, and report on quality data.
10. Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and increase efficiency.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Inspection role within a manufacturing environment.
2. Proficiency in Documented Material Review (DMR), Non-Conformance (NC) procedures, Quality Management Systems (QMS), and Epicor ERP system.
3. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on detail and accuracy.
5. A solid understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control principles, and statistical techniques.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate quality standards and expectations to team members and cross-functional teams.
7. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field is preferred.
8. Certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or Certified Quality Manager (CQM) would be a plus.
