SUMMARY: The Quality Manager leads the efforts of the organization to ensure compliance to the company’s quality policy, quality management system certification and overall strategic plan. The position provides leadership to develop and implement the quality policy, procedures and systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Responsible for maintaining and improving Quality Management System per ISO9001:2015.
- Ensures compliance with quality policy, standards, and requirements.
- Lead and conduct comprehensive quality audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance.
- Responsible for managing corrective action process, and customer complaints.
- Leads, coaches, and develops the quality team.
- Manage and optimize quality control processes throughout the entire production cycle.
- Collaborates with product engineering on design for quality in the NPD process.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to address and resolve quality issues promptly.
- Supports continuous improvement initiatives of the plant.
- Helps lead the FMEA, risk mitigation, process control plan development, and structured problem-solving.
- Oversee fabrication processes to ensure consistent product quality and reliability.
- Identify quality problems and recommend solutions.
Performs other duties, consistent with the position, as required or assigned.

Required Experience:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
The successful candidate will possess the following skills/abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
- 10+ years of related quality work in an ISO and 6 Sigma manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience as Quality Manager in a high product mix setting.
- In depth knowledge of ISO9001:2015 standard required.
- Six Sigma Green Belt required / Black Belt preferred.
- Advanced Quality Planning is required, including strong proficiency with FMEA’s, PPAP’s, DMAIC, PDCA and 8D corrective action methodology.
- ASQ certification preferred.
- Ability to work well in a team environment across manufacturing, supply chain, customer service, and product engineering.
- HVAC or Electro-mechanical engineered product experience a plus.
