Job Title: Quality Manager 1
Summary
Lead, be accountable for, and continually improve Business Unit’s quality management system and quality control function.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Internal expert/resource on all quality systems implemented.
- Support, monitor and continually improve all quality systems.
- Oversee all quality & safety audits, maintain records of the audit, and coordinate response/closure to findings.
- Quality representative for contract review process.
- Continually monitor training system and records.
- Maintain, monitor and report on performance against Quality Objectives.
- Coordinate the Management Review process.
- Provide leadership and guidance for the Quality Control function.
- Train all employees on quality procedures & monitor performance.
- Support a quality-oriented culture within the company.
- Participate in the development of the company’s strategic planning, vision, mission and values and desired culture.
- Provide good feedback and promote good communication.
- Abide by and support all quality system requirements.

Education and/or Experience
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (min 5 years), 5-10 years previous experience preferred
Language Skills
· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Reasoning Ability
· Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
