Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year

Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility.
2. Ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies and standards (including HACCP, PCQI, etc.) to ensure high-quality production.
3. Lead and manage a team of quality control technicians to ensure best practices are followed and quality standards are met.
4. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all manufacturing processes, identifying areas of improvement and implementing new processes accordingly.
5. Conduct regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for shipping.
6. Work closely with manufacturing staff to ensure proper execution of the quality program.
7. Train and guide staff on new processes and standards to ensure understanding and compliance.
8. Handle and resolve any issues or problems identified during quality assessments.
9. Report to top management on the performance of the QMS (Quality Management System), including needs for improvement.
10. Foster a quality-focused culture within the organization where employees are encouraged to strive for excellence and continuous improvement in their work.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Quality, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Manager role within the food manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience with Continuous Improvement.
4. Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to optimize team performance and development.
5. Highly skilled in analyzing complex data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable plans.
6. Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage, negotiate, and manage key stakeholders and suppliers.
7. Strong project management and change management skills.
8. Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail.
9. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
10. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and other quality management software.
11. Certifications in Quality Management would be considered as an added advantage.
12. Proven track record in managing the quality in complex manufacturing processes.
