Summary:
Promotes performance improvement/quality improvement (PI/QI) theory, effectively utilizes proven performance improvement methodologies, and coordinates departmental and interdepartmental performance improvement activities throughout the MetroHealth System. Participates in maintaining compliance with regulatory agencies' standards. Upholds the standards of the system-wide customer service program.
Qualifications:
Required: Bachelor's Degree in nursing or in a related health care field or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in addition to the experience stated below. Registered Nurse with current licensure to practice in the State of Ohio A minimum of three years clinical experience or experience in a health care environment Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to think abstractly and to embrace change Preferred: Previous Performance Improvement/Quality Improvement experience Quantitative (statistical) skills, including intermediate computer skills, especially experience with Microsoft Excel Physical Demands: May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating. May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to read job related documents. Ability to use computer.
