Quality Technician 3rd Shift at Micro Tech

Fast Paced Food Manufacturing company is seeking a 3rd Shift Quality Assurance Technician for a contract to hire opportunity!  We are looking for an individual who has experience in food manufacturing and quality processes with willingness to learn and grow with company long term. Pay is depending on experience starting at $22/HR+ for motivated individuals with overtime offered. 

Job Duties:

• Perform hourly quality checks on product and document findings
• Ability to perform in process and final quality checks for products
• Ability to follow production schedule and make changeovers necessary with product packaging and shelf life requirements
• Follow FDA, GMP, HACCP and other food manufacturing safety protocol and document accordingly
• Clean and sanitize every shift and document
• Follow programs and procedures per company procedures 
• Ensure that all documents are filled out daily
• Update the Quality Assurance Manual as necessary
• Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 3+ years’ experience in food manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of GMP and HACCP standards
• Must be able to communicate in English both written and spoken
• Ability to stand for up to 10 hours a day
• Excellent computer skills
• Excellent verbal, written and communication skills
